Project Description:
This competition winning pool is designed to be discreet and unimposing on a desolate site.
The firm made an l-shaped scar in the terrain, lifting the corner to quietly inhabit the land. Visitors enter from the narrow side of the project under an administrative area, where a wide view of the Olympic-size pool presents itself from below.
Without surrounding architecture, the only context for the project is a highway from which the building is visible. Its dynamic shape reflects the speed of the road.
Although this is a new project on unbuilt land, it is a deliberate spark to ignite growth in the area.
